How To Create A New Team

Before You Start

Make sure the team owner already has Precision Pit installed and has opened the app at least once.

• Have the team name ready before starting.
• Use an email address the team owner can access easily.
• Choose a password that the owner will remember for future sign-ins.

Step By Step

1. Open Precision Pit on the phone.
2. On the login screen, choose Create Team.
3. Enter the team owner name, email address, and password.
4. Type the new team name exactly how you want it to appear for crew members.
5. Finish the form and submit it to create the team.
6. After the team is created, confirm that the owner lands inside the team area successfully.

What To Do Next

Once the team exists, the next best step is to finish the basic team settings before sending invites.

• Open the team settings area and review the owner profile details.
• Set the racing details that will shape the team workflow.
• Enter and save the baseline setup information that the crew will use later, on race night.
• After that, invite drivers and crew members into the team.
